Open plan with three separate areas, Joule's memorabilia features throughout. The front bar area has a pool table and dartboard and there are a number of old photographs relating to local mining history. The sports TV is limited to this area of the pub. The large lounge area is on two levels. There is an enclosed beer garden with a shelter that's also used as the stage for music events. Food trucks are available on some days - see Facebook.

The pub offers three beers from the Joules range, and one changing ale.
