The former 'Toby Carvery' reopened in March 2017 as a 'Miller & Carter' steakhouse and pub. The pub was originally an M&B pub named The Foxhunter, prior to 2000, and people still seem to disregard the subsequent names, in favour the original appellation. Even the large adjacent traffic roundabout is referred to by all and sundry as the Foxhunter Roundabout. This is primarily a food-orientated establishment, and all areas at the front of the pub are set out as a restaurant. There is, however, a small public bar area to rear-left, with two distinct imbiber zones. Just one real ale - Doom Bar - is available, and meals are only served in the restaurant areas.
