Micropub.

This converted shop was Southend's first micropub and has up to four cask ales, with a least two from the local George's Brewery. Five real ciders, three craft keg pumps, one draught German pilsner and two draught ciders, one of which is Rocquette of Guernsey, are exclusively sold in Essex by Mawson's. Set in the Southchurch village area, the bar has a large gallery of Laurel and Hardy pictures. Quiet music adds to happy conversation, with monthly open mic nights including poetry and monthly quiz nights.
