Guests are more than welcome at the Masonic Centre just off Front Street in the heart of the town. As well as up to five changing cask ales, you will also find one of the biggest selections of single malt whisky in the area. There is an impressive mural down the left hand side of the bar depicting the River Wear. Local CAMRA Club of the Year 2020, 2022, 2023, 2025 and 2026. CAMRA North East Region Club of the Year Runner-up 2023.
