The visitor centre is popular with both tourists and local residents. The well-stocked shop dispenses more than brewery merchandise. The licensed Malthouse Kitchen restaurant, located within the Visitor Centre, is open everyday for breakfast and lunch.
Brewery tours are every day of the week and need to be pre-booked, there are themed evening events and open tap beer tasting nights (2nd Weds; 5-8pm). The 1899 Board Room and the wedding-licensed Steep are available for corporate events and conferences, and a microbrewery to brew your own beer can be hired by booking online or by phone. Shire horses are in the stables Weds - Sun and the steam engine is run on the first Sunday each month.
Historic Interest
Established in 1849 and the tower brewery was built in 1899. The brewery and the malthouse are both Grade II listed.
