Large pub opposite West Jesmond Metro. Popular with students and sports fans. Recent refurbishment has added more televisions and re-upholstery. Upstairs drinking area has separate bar and more televisions. Large screen projector shows football and other sports events in raised area to front of pub. At least four handpumps serve real ales from a couple of local breweries and some nationally sourced guest beers.
