Long Can Hall, Ovenden

The Long Can Hall is situated just over a mile from the centre of Halifax in Fountain Head Village.

They are a family-orientated establishment serving homemade traditional pub food, renowned for Sunday lunches, which include slow roasted beef. Their extensive menu also caters for vegetarians, vegan (upon request) or people with gluten-free dietary requirements. Dogs are only allowed in the large beer garden overlooking the valley

For those special occasions, they have two private function rooms. ‘The Snug’, situated downstairs, is ideal for family gatherings or smaller celebrations, able to comfortably seat 22 people, and has wheelchair access via the patio area.

Upstairs is our large function room which can comfortably seat up to 40 people for a sit-down meal or for a buffet 80 / 100 people. Consisting of two rooms and private bar facilities, ideal for wedding receptions, evening parties or corporate events. Entertainment can also be provided via music streamed from our own system, a DJ, or live performances.

Should you opt for something a little more exclusive to celebrate your special occasion, they can also accommodate a marquee for larger gatherings of up to 150 guests.
