Family and dog friendly pub in the town centre, close to public transport. The former ever changing range of cask beers has been reduced to one local ale following the pandemic. It is hoped to add a further hadpump in the near future.

A beer festival takes place over the August bank holiday weekend.

Taylor's Brewery is still on site, and new equipment has been purchased. It is hoped to start brewing again when economic conditions improve.
