Large 17C pub which was one of the first to be built outside the city walls, on the site of Lollard's Pit - a place of execution for heretics, hence the name.

Close to the Yacht Station moorings, the pub has up to six ales available, from Woodforde's and local breweries such as Panther and Humpty Dumpty. There's also a large enclosed patio area at the rear, plus a games room.

Open Monday 4-10 during City of Ale 2024.
