Popular back-street local with two bars, a small cosy lounge and a larger public bar with TV. Five beers are available, including a mild (rare for the area). Cider drinkers have a choice of ciders, normally including something from local producer Whin Hill. The local CAMRA Branch's Cider Pub of the Year in successive years 2020-2025, and contender for West Norfolk Pub of the Year 2024 and 2025. Live music is sometimes played in the public bar.
