This Pub is Closed Long Term

Ex-Bass Charrington, Unique, and finally Enterprise Inns until they sold it in 2013. It's now closed and shuttered, presumably since that time, although there is some signage outside implying that it may have served latterly as a kind of nightclub. A planning application to extend made by a company who runs care homes approved June 2013. Closed, boarded and for sale by auction 16 June 2014. Newham Council received a planning enforcement request regarding "Excavation of a basement" in September 2014. Many subsequent planning applications - all refused. Change of use to A1 refused August 2020.
