Comfortable 16th century coaching inn retaining its traditional appearance, with exposed oak timbers and stone fireplaces. A popular venue for locals and visitors with beers served from Butcombe Brewery. There is an attractive restaurant and accommodation with a secluded lawn and patio area at the rear of the premises. Breakfasts are served from 8-10am.

**Closed during January 2025 for refurbishment.
