Charming Grade II listed countryside pub, renowned for its excellent food. The Lion, a late 17th to early 18th-century inn, was once called the White Lion in the mid-19th century and appeared as the 'Caerhowell Ale-House' on an 1833 map. A cozy inglenook fireplace dominates the bar, creating a warm ambiance when lit. Adjacent to the bar area there is a re-excavated former well, now covered with glass, which adds historical intrigue. Outside, a faded Watney Red Barrel sign adds character. Expect lively conversations with welcoming locals at this social hub.
