Cask beer range mainly reflects Yorkshire real ale with some rarer seen national choices from independent breweries. Always at least two dark beers on tap. York CAMRA Pub of the Season Autumn 2025. 2026 Pub of the Year finalist. Cask Ale club Monday and Tuesday - discounted prices, CAMRA discount available all week.

Weekly pub quiz (Wed from 8pm), occasional sports events like internationals on TV. Lunchtime and afternoon food is available as are cocktails. Beer from the wood is often available as well as are beer themed events.
