Being reefurbished November 2016 with promise of reopening early 2017 as sports bar and lounge with real ale. Reopened May 2018, no real ale. Closed for a rethink September 2018 and planned to reopen as a licensed tea room. 2019 a dessert shop/restaurant called Sweetie Pops. Don't believe has a license.

But in 2023 it reopened as a pub on Christmas Day.
