No real ale. This one-time Devenish Brewery house has been a pub since 1878 but is now a free house. On the edge of town up a steep hill, it is a basic, no-frills locals' pub which is busier in the evenings than during the daytime. The building is on a split level to match the hill. The bar houses 2 pool tables and a dartboard. This is a family and dog-friendly pub, albeit with no food offered.
