Named after the designer of the Lion Statues that are a local landmark outside the Council House buildings, yards from the pub. Two floors, with a bar on each floor, although the real ale selection is restricted on the first floor. The usual Wetherspoon fare is available throughout the day, open for food from 8am, alcohol sales from 9am.
