A large local in the heart of a working village. The three rooms offer drinking, dining and games, with sports TV in the bar and the games room. Various pub games league teams are supported by the regulars. Accommodation is available across the courtyard from the main building in what were formerly outbuildings. Dalton is conveniently close to the A1M and A19, near the foot of the North York Moors escarpment. At least one cask ale, usually from a local brewery, is served.
