Reopened in December 2015 after a substantial refurbishment resulting in three distinct drinking/seating areas including one with outstanding views over the Tyne estuary, along with an area by the bar. Food offering is currently limited but is planned to expand in May 2017. The decoration is based on an Alice in Wonderland/Mad Hatter's Teaparty theme.
