Situated to one side of a small glen with many historic sites from stone barrows to the volcanic plug of Dunadd Fort where the ancient kings of Dalriada were crowned. The pub buildings were once part of an old farm house. Excellent meals (lunches weekends only) are available in the stone-walled lounge and dining rooms. The public bar has pictures of local sights. Two handpumps serve beers which are shown on blackboards over the bar.
