After a lengthy closure this pub reopened under new management [September 2019]. The pub, which sits on a large plot, is open plan and furnished to a high standard. There is a sizeable seating area outside overlooking the canal. Two cask ales are on the bar, a Greene king beer and a changing cask ale. it is wise to book if dining.
