The Heritage Centre is an imposing building and was formerly Whitmore Reans Conservative Club. Today it is a community and cultural centre with a public bar and two function rooms.

The centre is welcoming to all but serves a mainly Afro Caribbean clientele. As a result, dominoes is the main pub game, while an occasional DJ plays music at a reasonable volume.
