Five handpumps, four selling local ales including Allendale and Wylam, adorn the bar in this food led pub, just off the Market Square. Wooden floors throughout the single large room which is almost divided in two near the end of the bar. A large, six foot, open fire place warms things nicely in the back room and excellent food using local produce is served.

Dogs welcome.
