In a quiet, somewhat out of the way village, the Hare & Hounds reopened after refurbishment with enthusiastic new owners in August 2024. The single bar has a tiled floor with white painted woodwork and is comfortably funished. Sport is shown on TV and there is a dart board. Outside, there are tables at the front and a garden at the rear. At present, meals are not served, but rolls, sandwiches and pies are available Sat & Sun. It is popular with cyclists at weekends.

Monday opening will be introduced in September 2024.

The pub is still work in progress - it is intended to start offering meals and possibly accommodation in the not to distant future.
