A friendly 18th century pub was once owned by the Lord of the Manor the Rt. Hon Earl of Thanet. Situated just off the main road between Ashford to Maidstone it is well worth a visit. Supported by the locals the pub holds regular quiz nights and live music.
The pub re-opened in early December 2025 after a period of closure for refurbishment after being taken over by the team also running The Tickled Trout in Wye.
Food will be available once the kitchen refit is completed hopefully by mid to late January, update to follow.
