This is a club, which means that the bar may be only open to members.

Traditional private club, located at the top of the main street with comfortable suroundings. Card carrying CAMRA members welcome. The Club has clubs as follows ;- quoits, leek(2), pigeon, wildlife, Gardening, Buffs, Angling and is very popular with visitors and tourists as a Hadrian's Wall heritage site is near by. The club hosts an egg jarping competition every Easter Sunday, which CAMRA members replicate on trips. Bar is graced with several photographs of yesteryear, including military and sport themes.
