The Half Moon is a 16th century thatched pub with character. The changing Rebellion beer is either Smuggler or Overthrow. There is also a large sun trapped garden at the back for summer lunches. Italian food served. Reopened in 2015 after closure by Brakspear in 2014 and a failed attempt by the local community to raise money to buy it. The owners have another pub in South Mimms.

Historic Interest

Historic England Grade II listed, entry number 1059746. Originally a house. Built 17th century, lower 18th century range to left, 19th century and 20th century alterations.
