Opened in 2016 by two enthusiastic brothers in the historic Grape Lane, where Captain Cook served his apprenticeship.

Two room layout, with three cask lines, one real cider line and twelve craft lines. Also sells an eclectric range of bottles and cans, with over 300 different beers and ciders available, including a wide range of gluten free beers.

Also stocks a wide range of whiskies, gins and wines.

Last orders are 30 minutes before quoted closing times, though may stay open later during summer.

Garpe Lane can be traced back to the 16th Century. Where Captain Cook served his apprenticeship.
