Open for selected world cup matches only while refurbishment in progress. See facebook.

Reopened autumn 2012 after 18 months' closure and renamed by new lessee, Antic. A bakery, buttery and bar, popular for weekend 'brunches': in effect a cafe in daytime and a large, welcoming, single bar pub in the evenings. Large garden is very popular in fine weather. Open daily from 10am for food. Formerly (and somewhat notoriously) A Bar 2 Far and originally Horse & Groom. Cask beer reinstated in 2024.

"This post goes out to all our regulars and to the tooting community as a whole.

Due to the refurb we are currently undergoing we are now closed until further notice.

Please keep an eye out for more posts to come regarding the relaunch date of our venue."

As at 29 June, refurbishment was still in hand. Workmen confirmed that the name would change to Oberon. Meanwhile it is open only for England matches in the World Cup. Handpumps are not yet (back) in use.
