Situated midway between Chester and Wrexham this extensive whitewashed building has plenty of nooks and crannies, attractive bric-a-brac for wall decoration and a smart eclectic mix of the old and new. Popular with diners, the bar area remains the domain of the humble drinker of this Hyde's house with 50p off cask ale on Mondays. There is an extensive well kept outside garden complete with a tipi. NB The pub claims to have a resident ghost known as Old Jeffrey!
