Popular beer destination and community local where the hand pumps boast a good range of six constantly changing real ales, often local. A range of Belgian beers also available. Bare boards, barstools, breweriana and a famous plank at the end of the bar create a traditional town pub atmosphere buzzing with conversation. Snacks include locally sourced pork pies and scotch eggs. Dog (and people) friendly. Former Bedfordshire and South Bedfordshire Pub of the Year.
