Literary themed bar.

Plenty of George Orwell memorabilia and themed book covers compliment the contemporary decoration, to provide a great literary atmosphere. In November 2023 the pub's 10-year anniversary was celebrated by the GO Pub Quiz group, who continue to meet on Monday nights. Arts and jazz events regularly take place. Two cask ales are usually served, often from ultra-local Law Brewing, with a good selection of bottled ales and craft beers also available. Normal opening confirmed from 4pm every day apart from Sunday.
