Picturesque village free house, licensed since 1804. Up to seven ales from local and national brewers. Car park and patio at the front and a large garden with a children's adventure playground at the rear. Also a craft shop and separate Hoober Room, available for hire. Home-cooked food is popular from an extensive menu. Handy for historic Wentworth Woodhouse, The Needle's Eye and Hoober Stand. Accessible from the parish church behind. A "Pop-up" Pie Shop at the side of the pub, opens every Saturday and Sunday from noon until 4pm. Good Beer Guide regular and winner of numerous local CAMRA branch awards. Up to seven real ales on the bar.
