An old timber framed Grade II listed building which has been extended close to Mount Vernon Hospital. Food available all day until 10pm. Real ales are reduced by £1 on Monday and Thursdays.

Historic Interest

Grade II listing:- C17 timber framed left part of 3 bays, with red brick facade, and extension of 2 bays to right in brick built to resemble it as closely as possible. 2 storeys. Continuous tiled roof. Left part has 1st floor band and some diapering of blue headers. Large old end chimney arid visible framing in gable, 1st floor windows horizontal sliding sashes. Ground floor replaced sashes with bars under cambered brick arches. Modern door under reproduction pedimented hood.
