This pub is close to Trafford General Hospital. It's under new management and now offers food.

There is live music with bands playing every Saturday evening and an acoustic night Open Mic night on Fridays. Wednesday is a smartphone based quiz night, poker night on Thursday

Children are welcome until 9pm Sunday-Friday and until 8pm on Saturdays. Highchairs and free colouring sheets are available. Well behaved dogs (on leads) are also welcome.

Level/ramped access is now available from the front of the pub on Moorside Road, but it's a bit of a trek from either of the two car parks. The east car park has two "disabled" spaces close to the pub's front door. The Brook Road side of the pub is still waiting for the promised new ramp.
