The Fox & Hounds is a large Georgian pub of invitingly irregular appearance. It was built in two parts and altered in subsequent centuries. The interior has antique furniture and many exposed beams, with a restaurant to one side. Outside is a large multi-level patio area providing plenty of additional seating. Food on offer is varied with separate lunchtime and evening menus, that are supplemented with daily specials.

18th-century with 19th & 20th century alterations. Grade II listed. Historic England list entry 1094728
