This is a popular and lively community hub, and the winner of Reading & Mid Berkshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2024. Six changing real ales and 14 craft keg lines from local and independent breweries are on offer, plus up to four ciders and perries. Extensive outside areas are covered and heated. A blue plaque commemorates the day in 1960 that John Lennon and Paul McCartney performed a gig here as the Nerk Twins. Card payment only.
