Refurbished in 2015, this is a very smart but comfortable gastropub. There is a nice snug at one side, and the restaurant is decorated in shades of teal. The restaurant has a good range of British menu options. The pub is close to the seafront and is named after the depth of the deepest sea off Herne Bay. Since the change of ownership in 2023 and relaunch in June 2024 real ale is not regularly available.
