Thoroughly refurbished and re-opened in March 2020, with the two bars knocked into one but retaining the old side corridor. The feel is 'traditional pub' and it has been very popular with local residents - the busiest for years. Usually three ales available. The rear garden has been tidied-up and is a pleasant sun-trap on summer evenings. Further refurbishment has taken place mid 2023; with the old beer lines replaced with new, other behind the scenes upgrades together with new furniture inside and out.
