The Forester’s opened in 1912 and retains two rooms, darts & pool are played in the back room. The front room hosts occasional live music with Motown and soul nights. The pictures of old Doncaster that adorn the walls are always fascinating.

The pub is well known for food, Sunday lunches are very popular &pie night Thursday. A pizza van is available from Thursday to Sunday from 5 to 10.30pm. Holy Cluck Nashville Chicken available. serving times for this vary. Smart quiz (tablet & phone) 8.30 pm Wednesdays- booking recommended. Handpumps are not in use but a selection of bottled ales available.

A ramp is available for wheelchair access, just ask.

Buses on routes 50 and 50A stop nearby and Adwick station is five minutes’ walk away.
