Real ale is no longer served here The pub was the first pub to be rebuilt in Plymouth after complete destruction during the Blitz of 1941. There is a very small range of bottled ales (such as Newcastle Brown Ale), although they are not bottle conditioned. It is family-friendly until 1930 daily. There is live entertainment at weekends. The pub is also dog friendly.
