Historic Interest

Dating from at least 1860, bought by Yates's Castle Brewery in 1897. Described in 1980 as a one-room local with an island bar bon edge of shopping centre selling Wilsons Bitter and Mild by handpump. The black & white photo shows the pub in 1984 when it still served Wilsons beers.
