One-roomed bar at the western end of the Grassmarket, a location which guarantees a wide mix of clientele. Large windows mean that you can look out on the changing environment of this vibrant part of Edinburgh. Very fine beer and whisky mirrors compete with the inevitable sports coverage on TV. There is no amplification for the live music at weekends as there are flats directly above the pub. There is a varied all-day menu with vegan and vegetarian options.
