Far Post & Shrimpers Bar, Southend-on-Sea (Southend United Football club)

Far Post bar can be found at the East Stand at Southend United Football Club and the Shrimpers Bar is underneath it near the enterance of the South Stand. Both bars serve 1 real ale on match days which constanly changes and is a new beer for each homne match day. Bars are open from 2 hours before kick off until 1 hour after the game, but usually shut during the first half. As the bars are connected with the football club, an array of Southend United tops and programmes can be found adorning the walls. If you want food, it's the usual football fayre of burgers, pies and chocolates that can be bought from the tea bars around the ground. The Far Post bar can only be accessed by ticketholders as you have to go through the turnstiles to get to it, but the Shrimpers bar can be accessed by anybody and welcomes away fans. The bar is open on match days only: 3pm kick offs 1pm - 6pm; 7.45pm kick offs 6pm-10pm.
