A free house built in 1659, the quirky layout of the interior features rooms on differing levels. The cosy single bar has a wood-burning fire and leads to a snug with a flagstone floor. Their dining room specialises in steaks from the family farm (which can also be purchased in the pub) and locally sourced ingredients. Competitively priced beers are selected by customer vote from brewers within a 25 mile radius. A popular haunt with walkers traversing the Cotswold Way.
