A 300 year old, Grade II listed pub in the centre of typical Cotswold village. Although excellent and popular food is the focus of this true free house, the two beers are well kept and the centre of the pub is not laid up for diners. Having been closed for some time, the reopened pub is truly appreciated by the village and it is at the heart of village life. The guest beer is usually from a West Country micro brewery. Lunch special menu thoroughly recommended.
