  • Community Owned

The knocked-through interior of this community-owned pub provides a number of separate areas, featuring two wood-burning stoves. A spacious separate restaurant opens onto the decked terraced beer garden. The slightly altered new name distinguishes the pub from the Green Dragon in nearby Bedale. Numerous village activities include the folk club, book club, gardening club, a weekly coffee morning and the monthly women's group (aka the Dragons). Reopened October 2025 after a brief closure.
