A lovely old stone built pub situated alongside the old canal and Trans Pennine Trail. The pub is well known for its quality food and has an attractive outside seating area that is popular with walkers and diners alike. The licensees are enthusiastic and local to the village. The car park area has space for two campers or caravans to be hooked up. No longer sells cask ale.
