Part of the Tontine Hotel with its own entrance on Robertson Street.

Eighteen 08, a lounge bar under a hotel and off of the Tontine Hotel’s rear courtyard. The bar can be entered from a side door around corner from the hotel main entrance. There is a long servery on the back wall. The room splits in two with some dining sized tables immediately opposite the servery and then behind them some large booths and beyond these are more tables and then sliding patio doors out to the courtyard which captures the sun. Food all day.

The parent hotel, called The Tontine, at 6 Ardgowan Square has the main entrance around the corner from the Eighteen 08. The hotel also has a large lounge with a bar selling the same choices as the its pub.

Historic Interest

Built 1803, the whole of the Tontine Hotel is Category A listed. Historic Environment Scotland reference LB34078.
