Based in the centre of the town it is handy for dropping into while out shopping to enjoy pint. While the pub is a single room with a small annexe it still retains the feel of having two rooms. The changing beer is from the Lymestone brewery.

Grade II listed building, extensively and sensitively refurbished in early 2025.
